Project 10: Turned wood candlesticks

Welcome to week 10! As promised, this week I’m getting out of my house and into the woodshop to make turned wood candlesticks on the lathe. I took a short wood turning class and learned the basics of spindles and bowls. This week I’m putting that knowledge into practice to make spindle candlesticks (they won’t be quite as fancy as the photo above!).

Join me as I choose wood, invent designs, and figure out how to finish a set of original candlesticks. I’m looking forward to it!
